Built for the finish you can see from the curb.
Hampshire-based property care from a crew that learned its standard on golf courses — brought home to every yard, every visit. Serving the Fox Valley, McHenry County, the Barrington area, and the broader Rockford region.
Started on golf course crews. Built for residential standards.
Aceves Landscaping Design was founded in Hampshire, Illinois by a crew with deep roots in golf course construction and maintenance — fairway grading, bunker rebuilds, tee box work, the kind of finish standards you only learn when a course superintendent is signing off on every cut.
We started taking on residential properties on the side and noticed the same gap on every project: homeowners were paying for landscape work but getting lawn-cut work. Stripe lines that didn’t line up. Beds that washed out by July. Mulch piled against tree trunks. Drainage that nobody actually fixed.
We started Aceves to do it the way it should be done — every visit, every property, residential or commercial. That’s the company.

Three things that show up in every job we run.
Golf-Course Pedigree
The standard for finish work in residential landscaping is a golf course tee box. That's where most of our crew came up — and that's where the standard came from. We don't drop it when the property is residential.
Full-Spectrum Capability
Five-to-fifteen-person crews. Owned skid steers, mini-excavators, dump trailers, and commercial mowers. We scale up for estate work and contract specialists when scope demands. One general contractor. No subcontractor confusion.
Local Roots
Hampshire-based, Northern Illinois bred. We know which species survive a Fox Valley winter, where water pools after a March thaw, and which town inspectors care about which permit details.

Owned equipment. Trained operators. Budget for more on the contract.
We run our own machinery — not rentals — so the operators who show up to your property already know the equipment cold. Larger contracts get budget allocated for additional machinery purchases as scope warrants.
- Skid steers and compact track loaders
- Mini-excavators (1.5T–4T class)
- Dump trailers and material bed trucks
- Commercial zero-turn and walk-behind mowers
- Stump grinders and chippers
- Pressure-wash rigs (gas and electric, soft-wash chemistry)
- Aerators, slit seeders, top-dressers
- Plate compactors and small grading attachments
